All these weeks later, Insurrection Prime is still one of the most fun raid bosses Bungie has ever put in a Destiny game. The final boss in Destiny 2: Black Armory’s Scourge of the Past raid actually has the easiest challenge in the bunch. All it takes is some good aim and a bit of setup. So grab your Whisper of the Worm and get some extra raid loot for your trouble.
Setup
The goal for the To Each Their Own challenge is easy: Each player needs to destroy one of Insurrection Prime’s six shield generators. The boss has generators on each knee, both shoulder-blades, its right shoulder and left armpit.
The first thing your team should do is assign a generator to each player. The four roaming players should ideally take out the shoulder, backs and one of the knees. The map reader should take the other knee, and the sniper player should take the armpit — this is the hardest spot to hit, and the sniper has the least to do.
Once everyone knows where they’re going, you get to the easy part: hitting your shot. Around power level 650, a single Whispered Breathing shot from Whisper of the Worm will take out a generator. Below that, you may need three normal shots. Either way, it’s a pretty easy shot to take. Have everyone stand where they can see their generator as the boss spawns, and take them out quickly.
Now it’s time to go about your business.
Execute like normal
Once the boss’ shield goes down, just play the rest of the fight like normal. It’s that simple. If you aren’t able to one-phase the boss, the generators will respawn after the damage phase. Have each of your players shoot the same generator as before to remove the shield and start the process over again.
When Insurrection Prime’s health hits zero, you should complete the challenge and get an extra piece of raid loot from the boss.
