If you played Destiny, you may be familiar with Xur, the weekly Exotic item merchant. In Destiny 2, he’s back, and he now appears all over the map. This week, he’s on Titan. You can find Xur a short walk from The Rig rally point in a room facing to the north .

Xur’s inventory this week consists of the following:
- Sweet Business, Exotic auto rifle: 29 Legendary Shards
- Lucky Pants, Hunter legs: 23 Legendary Shards
- Doom Fang Pauldron, Titan arms: 23 Legendary Shards
- Aeon Soul, Warlock gloves: 23 Legendary Shards
- Isochronal Engram: 97 Legendary Shards
- Invitation quest: 9 Legendary Shards
Xur’s inventory should cap out at 681 if you’re 700. He also offers specific rolls on each armor piece each week, giving out different perks for the same pieces. We’ve highlighted any great rolls below.
WEAPON
Sweet Business is a beautiful exotic. All you really need to know about this thing is that it’s a minigun that you can use in your Kinetic slot. Its exotic perk, Payday, causes the gun to hold 99 bullets and have increased hip fire accuracy. But what makes this gun special is the Business Time perk, which increases the weapon’s range and rate of fire when holding down the trigger. As a bonus, any Kinetic ammo you walk over will be instantly loaded into the clip if Business Time is active.
This gun is excellent in almost any PvE scenario. It may have bad reload speed and be poor in PvP, but Sweet Business chews through Cabal, Fallen, Vex and Hive alike. If you’re a Titan able to pair it with Actium War Rig, you can fire for an extremely long time and rarely have to reload. If you play PvE content of any flavor, pick this gun up while you have the chance.
LUCKY PANTS
Lucky Pants are fairly worthless in most situations. They’re also one of the exotics that Sloane offers you during the campaign. Their exotic perk, Illegally Modded Holster, allows you to ready hand cannons very quickly as well as increase accuracy for your first shot. Additionally, precision hits partially reload any stowed hand cannons. If you absolutely must use hand cannons in both your energy and kinetic slot, these pants are for you. Otherwise, skip Lucky Pants.
This week’s roll:
Slot 1: Fusion rifle dexterity, hand cannon dexterity, Outreach (class ability reduces melee cooldown)
Slot 2: Scout rifle scavenger, special ammo finder
This Exotic already isn’t great. However, hand cannon dexterity does pair pretty well with this Exotic. If you need lucky pants, this isn’t the worst week to pick a pair up.
DOOM FANG PAULDRONS
Doom Fang Pauldrons are pretty cool if you’re into the Sentinel Titan. Its exotic perk, Horns of Doom, causes shield bash kills to quickly recharge your shield throw while you’re using your Super. Additionally, melee ability kills give you extra super energy, and shield throw kills extend the duration of your super. If you like the top tree of Sentinel, this is a fun exotic that you can use in strikes. If you’re a regular Sentinel user, this is a must have.
This week’s roll:
Slot 1: Fusion rifle loader, hand cannon loader, Impact Induction (melee attacks reduce grenade cooldown)
Slot 2: Sniper rifle scavenger, machine gun scavenger
Solid perks on this roll, including a pair of very handy scavenger perks. A wise investment if you don’t love the perks on your current roll.
Aeon Soul
Part of the Aeon exotic line added in Curse of Osiris, the Aeon Flux gauntlets are for Warlocks. Their exotic perk is Aeon Energy, which gives class energy — grenade energy for Warlocks — to nearby allies wearing other Aeon armor pieces each time you throw grenades. Non-Aeon users will also receive some energy. This is a terrible exotic and you can easily get it by completing the Curse of Osiris campaign on your Warlock. Don’t buy these.
This week’s roll:
Slot 1: Fusion rifle loader, hand cannon loader, impact induction (melee hits reduce grenade cooldown)
Slot 2: Sniper rifle scavenger, machine gun scavenger
This is one of the worst Exotics in the game, regardless of the roll. Like with Synthoceps, it’s a nice roll. But there is no reason to own this version of Aeon Soul over another, so save your Legendary Shards.
Invitation
This item starts the Invitation of the Nine quest. This week, Xur offers The Tower. It’ll cost you nine Legendary Shards.
