Lord Saladin is back in the tower this season with an Iron Banner quest in Destiny 2. You need to complete his quest to get his latest set of armor.
The Season of Opulence Iron Banner armor set has two mod slots — one for a normal mod and another for a Season of Opulence mod — and an ornament slot. Players who earned any of the Iron Banner ornaments from Year 1 can decorate their new armor with the old ornaments.
Getting the armor is a bit different this time around. When you go talk to Lord Saladin, he’ll offer you a quest. Pick it up and take it into Iron Banner. You’ll need to kill quite a few enemies to finish it.
When you return to Saladin, he’ll give you some boots and another quest step. Here’s a full list of the quest steps:
- As a team, earn points by defeating enemy Guardians in Iron Banner. Available only during Season of Opulence.
- As a team, earn points by capturing zones and earning Power Plays. The more teammates capturing a zone, the greater the points earned. Available only during Season of Opulence.
- As a team, earn points by defeating Guardians in Iron Banner with Supers. Available only during Season of Opulence.
- As a team, earn points by defeating enemies in Iron Banner using Auto Rifles, Fusion Rifles, Scout Rifles, Sniper Rifles, and Swords. Available only during Season of Opulence.
- Earn points by completing Iron Banner matches. Wins Streaks are worth significantly more points. Available only during Season of Opulence.
The quests themselves aren’t taxing, and you’ll complete most of them as you play. Each time you finish a quest, you’ll get a new piece of armor. All the armor pieces drop as powerful rewards.
