If you played Destiny, you may be familiar with Xur, the weekly Exotic item merchant. In Destiny 2, he’s back, and he now appears all over the map. This week, you can find Xur hanging out on Nessus near the Watcher’s Grave on top of Calus’ Barge.

Xur’s inventory this week consists of the following:
- The Huckleberry Sub-Machine Gun: 29 Legendary Shards
- Graviton Forfeit Hunter Helmet: 23 Legendary Shards
- Khepri’s Horn, Titan helmet: 23 Legendary Shards
- Sunbraces, Warlock Gauntlets: 23 Legendary Shards
- Isochronal Engram: 97 Legendary Shards
- Invitation quest: 9 Legendary Shards
Xur’s inventory caps out at 731 if you’re 750. He also offers specific rolls on each armor piece each week, giving out different perks for the same pieces.
Vigilance Wing
The Huckleberry is a brand-new exotic in Warmind. Its intrinsic perk is Ride the Bull, which causes the gun to fire faster and have increased recoil the longer you hold the trigger. Kills earned with the gun partially reload the magazine. The Huckleberry’s secondary perk is Rampage, which causes each kill to increase your damage for a short time.
The Huckleberry is a very enjoyable weapon. Its perks combine to create a little mini-game as I try to fire for as long as you possibly can without having to reload. It may not be particularly useful in a lot of end-game content — although it has some PvP potential — but it’s a blast to use in Adventures, Public Events, and Escalation Protocol. Pick up The Huckleberry if you can afford it.
Graviton Forfeit
The Graviton Forfeit is a Hunter helmet from Curse of Osiris. While it looks like a returning exotic from Destiny, its exotic perk, Vanishing Shadow, is completely different in Destiny 2. This perk increases the length of your invisibility skills and causes your melee ability to recharge quickly while you’re invisible.
This helmet is actually very powerful with the new “Way of the Wraith” tree, and will keep you invisible for a very long time. If you like being sneaky, pick up this helmet.
This week’s roll:
Slot 1: Sub-Machine Gun Targeting, Energy Weapon Targeting, Machine Gun Targeting
Slot 2: Shotgun Reserves, Special Ammo Finder
Khepri’s Horn
This is a bad Titan helmet. Its exotic perk is Solar Rampart, which causes a line of fire to shoot out of your barricade when you first place it, and your barricade is refreshed on a solar kill. The helmet looks cool, as does the effect. But, unfortunately, it’s just not particularly useful in practice. Don’t feel too bad about skipping this one if you’re running low on legendary shards.
This week’s roll:
Slot 1: Auto Rifle Targeting, Bow targeting, hand cannon targeting
Slot 2: Shotgun Reserves, Heavy Ammo Finder
Sunbracers
Sunbracers are powerful Warlock exotics for the Solar subclasses. Their exotic perk is Helium Spirals, which increases the duration of solar grenades. Melee kills also grant unlimited solar grenades for a brief time. These gauntlets are extremely fun to use, and can be powerful in wave-based modes like Escalation Protocol — when grinding for Hive or solar kills — or the weekly Nightfall.
This week’s roll:
Slot 1: Fastball, Light Arms Loader, Enhanced Rocket Launcher Loader
Slot 2: Linear Fusion Rifle Scavenger, Machine Gun Scavenger
Invitation
If you haven’t completed the Invitation quest yet, Xur is still offering it for nine Legendary Shards.
