If you played Destiny, you may be familiar with Xur, the weekly Exotic item merchant. In Destiny 2, he’s back, and he now appears all over the map. This week, you can find Xur on Titan, just east of the The Rig, standing in a small shack.

Xur’s inventory this week consists of the following:
- Black Talon, sword: 29 Legendary Shards
- Lucky Pants, Hunter legs: 23 Legendary Shards
- Eternal Warrior, Titan helmet: 23 Legendary Shards
- Transversive Steps, Warlock legs: 23 Legendary Shards
- Isochronal Engram: 97 Legendary Shards
- Invitation quest: 9 Legendary Shards
Xur’s inventory caps out at 941 if you’re 960.
Black Talon
Black Talon is a powerful Exotic sword from the Forsaken expansion. Its Exotic perk, Crow’s Wings, allow it to fire a Void projectile after two subsequent heavy attacks. Its trait, Tireless Blade, regenerates ammo on certain powerful blow kills.

The Black Talon isn’t the most useful sword in late-game activities, but it is a fun weapon. Adding a ranged attack to a sword takes away a lot of the weapon type’s usual danger. Instead of slamming your blade into enemies in their face, you can blast at them from a safe distance. If you don’t have Black Talon, you should add it to your collection. Just don’t expect to pull it out more than a couple times a year.
Lucky Pants
Lucky Pants are fairly worthless in most situations. They’re also one of the exotics that Sloane offers you during the campaign. Their exotic perk, Illegally Modded Holster, allows you to ready hand cannons very quickly as well as increase accuracy for your first shot. Additionally, precision hits partially reload any stowed hand cannons. If you absolutely must use hand cannons in both your energy and kinetic slot, these pants are for you. Otherwise, skip Lucky Pants.
Xur’s roll this week is Void, and comes with 48 total stats.
Eternal Warrior
Eternal Warrior is a returning Titan helmet from Destiny. This time around, Eternal Warrior the Resolute intrinsic perk. When activating Fists of Havoc — the Striker Titan super — you’ll gain an overshield.
This is a hard exotic to place. Activating your super already gives you bonus defense, so an overshield would make you essentially invincible. If you play Striker in highly difficult content — like Trials of the Nine or the raid — this is a great helmet to wear when you don’t need anything else.
Xur’s roll this week is Arc, and comes with 48 total stats.
Transversive Steps
Transversive Steps are the Warlock speedy boots, and they’re a very good catch-all exotic. Their exotic perk, Strange Protractor, increases your sprint speed and automatically reloads your energy weapons. The reloading is secondary to just how powerful movement speed is in Destiny 2. Make sure to pick them up if you don’t have them yet.
Xur’s roll this week is Arc, and comes with 48 total stats.
Invitation
If you haven’t completed the Invitation quest yet, Xur is still offering it for nine Legendary Shards.
