The weekly Exotic item merchant, Xur, hangs out in random locations around the world of Destiny. In Destiny 2, he can appear all over the map, as well as inside the Tower. This week, you can find Xur on Io for the last time, hanging out in a cave north of the Giant’s Scar.

Xur’s inventory this week consists of the following:

  • Fighting Lion, Void grenade launcher: 29 Legendary Shards
  • Wormhusk Crown, Hunter helmet: 23 Legendary Shards
  • Actium War Rig, Titan chest: 23 Legendary Shards
  • Promethium Spur, Warlock boots: 23 Legendary Shards
  • Exotic Engram: 97 Legendary Shards (you can now purchase a second with an Exotic Cipher)

Xur’s inventory caps out at 1050.

Fighting Lion

The Fighting Lion is an Exotic tube-fed grenade launcher. Its primary perk, Delayed Gratification, causes its projectiles to bounce and only explode after you release the trigger. Its secondary perk is Thin the Herd, which increases damage done to the enemy shield. This grenade launcher also uses primary ammo.

The Fighting Lion is a gimmick weapon, but that doesn’t mean it’s useless. If you’re working on any quest that requires grenade launcher kills, the Fighting Lion is perfect — since it rarely runs out of ammo. It takes a lot of time to get used to the Fighting Lion, but it’s a powerful tool in rare situations.

Wormhusk Crown

Wormhusk Crown is one of the campaign Exotics from Warmind, and you can earn the helmet from completing the campaign. Or you can buy it from Xur this week. The Exotic perk is Burning Souls, which heals you after dodging.

This is a powerful helmet in the Crucible, so if you’re a PvP player, you should pick this up.

Xur’s roll this week comes with 61 total stats.

Actium War Rig

The Actium War Rig is an extremely powerful Titan chest piece. Its exotic perk, Auto-loading Link, will constantly reload your auto rifles as you fire them. If you’re a fan of auto rifles — especially ones with larger than average magazines — this is an incredible exotic. When pairing Actium War Rig with the Sweet Business exotic auto rifle, the clip will refill with 10 rounds every few seconds, allowing the minigun to truly feel unique. If you ever use auto rifles, this chest piece is an absolute must-have.

Xur’s roll this week comes with 63 total stats.

Promethium Spur

Promethium Spur is a relatively new Warlock Exotic, added in season 9. Its unique perk, Embers of Light, causes Daybreak kills to spawn healing and empowering Rifts on the ground. This Exotic has a really interesting perk, but it’s not particularly useful in most cases. Maybe you’ll save the life of a teammate this way, but it’s a situational Warlock Exotic at best.

Xur’s roll this week comes with 62 total stats.
