The weekly Exotic item merchant, Xur, hangs out in random locations around the world of Destiny. In Destiny 2, he can appear all over the map, as well as inside the Tower. This week, you can find Xur on Titan, east of The Rig landing zone, taking shelter from the rain in a small shack.

Xur’s inventory this week consists of the following:
- Monte Carlo, auto rifle: 29 Legendary Shards
- Khepri’s Sting, Hunter gauntlets: 23 Legendary Shards
- Severance Enclosure, Titan chest: 23 Legendary Shards
- Skull of Dire Ahamkara, Warlock helmet: 23 Legendary Shards
- Exotic Engram: 97 Legendary Shards
Xur’s inventory caps out at 981 if you’re at 1000.
Monte Carlo
Monte Carlo is an older Exotic auto rifle from the original Destiny, brought back to life in Destiny 2: Shadowkeep. Its primary Exotic perk is Monte Carlo Method, which reduces the cooldown of your melee ability whenever you deal damage with Monte Carlo, and offers a chance for a melee ability reset on a Monte Carlo kill. Monte Carlo’s secondary perk is the Markov Chain, which increases the gun’s damage after primary fire or melee kills. Markov Chain also grants ammo on a melee kill.
Monte Carlo was a beloved auto rifle in the original Destiny, and it’s even better in Destiny 2. The gun offers some serious utility for melee-focused builds, and it feels great to shoot. Like most Exotic primaries, this isn’t the kind of weapon you want to take with you into a new raid. But for trolling around the universe, breaking space robots, and punching space rhinos, it’s the perfect companion.
Khepri’s Sting
Khepri’s Sting is a returning Exotic from the original Destiny, and houses a giant beetle on the Hunter’s left arm. Its Exotic perk is Touch of Venom. Punching an enemy with full melee energy instantly unleashes a smoke bomb. Smoke bombs deal increased damage and grant you Truesight while you’re inside.
This is an interesting Exotic with a neat effect, but it’s not particularly good at the moment. Pick it up if you have the shards and hope it will see a buff in the next few seasons.
Xur’s roll this week is Void, and comes with 48 total stats.
Severance Enclosure
Severance Enclosure is a new Exotic from Season of Dawn. Its Exotic perk is Spheromatik Trigger. Elemental melee kills unleash an explosion. Finishers increase the range and power of the explosion, as do kills on more powerful enemies.
This Exotic is unlikely to ever be useful for late-game activities. But it’s a really cool effect if you’re just looking to run around the world of Destiny and punch stuff — as Titans are wont to do.
Xur’s roll this week is Arc, and comes with 46 total stats.
Skull of Dire Ahamkara
Skull of Dire Ahamkara is the Warlock helmet on offer this week. It’s a pretty situational exotic, but it can be devastating when used properly. Its exotic perk, Actual Grandeur, causes you to take very low damage while casting Nova Bomb — and your Nova Bomb kills grant Super energy instantly.
If you can accurately place your Nova Bomb in a large group of enemies — in PvE or even PvP — you will refund quite a bit of Super energy. If you like playing Voidwalker at all, this is a solid helmet.
Xur’s roll this week is Arc, and comes with 50 total stats.
