The weekly Exotic item merchant, Xur, hangs out in random locations around the world of Destiny. In Destiny 2, he can appear all over the map, as well as inside the Tower. This week, you can find Xur on Titan, to the east of The Rig, taking shelter from the rain in a small building.
Xur’s inventory this week consists of the following:
- Sunshot, Solar hand cannon: 29 Legendary Shards
- Liar’s Handshake, Hunter arms: 23 Legendary Shards
- Eternal Warrior, Titan helmet: 23 Legendary Shards
- Skull of Dire Ahamkara, Warlock helmet: 23 Legendary Shards
- Exotic Engram: 97 Legendary Shards (you can now purchase a second with an Exotic Cipher)
Xur’s inventory caps out at 1050.
Sunshot
Sunshot is an exotic hand cannon that does Solar damage. Sunshot’s first exotic perk is Sunburn, which causes the weapon to fire explosive rounds and highlight enemies that take damage. Its secondary perk, Sun Blast, causes enemies killed by Sunshot to explode.
Sunshot is one of the most fun Exotics in the game. Unfortunately, hand cannons aren’t in a great spot right now. But if and when they come back, Sunshot will be a great weapon for Strike- or Public Event-focused loadouts. If you don’t have one, get yourself a Sunshot this week.
Liar’s Handshake
Liar’s Handshake is a Hunter-exclusive exotic that gives your melee a little bit of extra kick. Its ability is called Cross Counter, and whenever you use an Arc melee ability or are hit with a melee attack, it’ll increase the damage of your next melee and let it heal you. If you’re headed somewhere with plenty of up-close-and-personal fighting, this should give you a nice extra boost in damage and might even get you out of a tight spot.
Xur’s roll this week comes with 63 total stats.
Eternal Warrior
Eternal Warrior is a returning Titan helmet from Destiny. This time around, Eternal Warrior offers the Resolute intrinsic perk. When activating Fists of Havoc — the Striker Titan super — you’ll gain an overshield.
This is a hard exotic to place. Activating your super already gives you bonus defense, so an overshield would make you essentially invincible. If you play Striker in highly competitive PvP — like Trials of Osiris — this is a great helmet to wear when you don’t need anything else.

Skull of Dire Ahamkara
The Skull of Dire Ahamkara is the Warlock helmet on offer this week. It’s a pretty good exotic — although nerfed earlier in Year 3 — and can be devastating when used properly. Its exotic perk, Actual Grandeur, causes you to take very low damage while casting Nova Bomb — and your Nova Bomb kills grant Super Energy instantly.
If you can accurately place your Nova Bomb in a large group of enemies — in PvE or even PvP — you will refund quite a bit of super energy. If you like playing Voidwalker at all, this is a great helmet.
Xur’s roll this week comes with 60 total stats.
