With Destiny 2’s new Vow of the Disciple raid done and dusted, The Witch Queen expansion’s world has expanded a bit. There’s a new mission to play (regardless of if you’ve personally killed Rhulk, the raid’s final boss) and three new class Exotic glaives to pick up: Edge of Action, Edge of Intent, and Edge of Concurrence.
In this guide, we’ll show you how to get all three Exotic glaives in Destiny 2: The Witch Queen.
Report: PYRAMID-INSPECT
The class you complete this quest with determines the Exotic you’ll get.
- Titans get the Edge of Action, which creates a mini bubble
- Warlocks get the Edge of Intent, which creates a healing turret
- Hunters get the Edge of Concurrence, which shoots lightning
You can only do this quest for one of the Exotics, and you’ll need to get subsequent class Exotics using a different method (which we’ll go over below). Choose wisely if you use multiple characters regularly.
Go to the Enclave in Savathun’s Throne World and pick up the previously locked Report: PYRAMID-INSPECT quest from the Evidence Board. This will enable you to complete the new Perseverance mission in Savathun’s Throne World, which is essentially just the opening to the raid. Go do that, and come back to the Evidence Board to complete the quest.
Complete all the other Evidence Board missions (including getting Tarnation and Come to Pass from Wellspring), and then pick up the Report: REVERSE-LURE quest from the Evidence Board.
Report: REVERSE-LURE
This quest is pretty simple, so we’re going to go through it quick. Track it in your quest log before we get started.
Once you have the “Report: REVERSE-LURE” quest, grab the Osmic Fragment off the Evidence Board and head down to Savathun’s Throne World. Open your map, and look up above the Fluorescent Canal, where you’ll see the Queen’s Bailey area (which is where you started the second mission in The Witch Queen campaign). Drive your sparrow over there.
When you reach the area, place the Osmic Fragment in the little bowl as bait for the Hive. Use Deepsight to climb up to the lookout location that Destiny 2 marks on your screen. Wait here until the Hive shows up, and take the lure. If you jump down early, you’ll have to repeat this process, so be patient.
Once the fragment is gone, inspect the bowl again, and then follow the quest marker further into the Queen’s Bailey (killing Hive and picking up Resonant Runes as you go). Eventually, you’ll run into a big room filled with Hive. Kill all of them, and pick the Osmic Fragment back up. Return it to the Enclave to complete the Evidence Board once and for all.
You’ll then pick up your Exotic Pattern to craft your new glaive. Take it to The Relic, and build it. (It’s free to craft, but you’ll need to pay to customize perks.)
Getting additional patterns
Getting all three Destiny 2 glaives is going to be obnoxious, as it’s completely random. You’ll get the crafting patterns for your other two classes by completing the Wellspring activity in Savathun’s Throne World (which, if you’ve gotten this far in the Evidence Board, you’re probably already sick of). Just keep going until the glaive patterns drop.
