Disney announced on Tuesday that two highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe TV series, as well as the second season of The Mandalorian, would head to Disney Plus starting in August.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier kicks off this August, Disney CEO Bob Iger announced on a Disney earnings call. The Mandalorian season 2 will debut in October. WandaVision, originally scheduled for 2021, will now arrive on Disney Plus in December of this year. Compared to, say, Netflix, that amount of tentpole original content does seem a little sparse, but Iger maintained that this strategy was specific.

“The decision we made to go with quality and not just quantity is working,” said Iger during the call.

The MCU shows got a Super Bowl tease, showing glimpses of Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, along with the genre-blending, sitcom-inspired WandaVision (and a brief look at Loki). The Mandalorian, meanwhile, gears up for the Baby Yoda hiatus with official Baby Yoda merchandise.
