Raya and the Last Dragon squeezes in one last trailer before hitting Disney Plus

Disney’s newest animated film gets a Super Bowl TV Spot ahead of its Disney Plus debut next month. In the newest footage for Raya and the Last Dragon, we see more of the main conflict of the divided kingdom.

Raya and the Last Dragon takes place in a Southeast Asian-inspired fantasy realm, divided by five separate factions. Warrior Raya (Kelly Marie Tran) journeys to find the last dragon in the land. Played by Awkwafina, the blue-fluffy dragon is named Sisu and is, by her own admission, not exactly the best dragon. But the two of them — along with a ragtag team including a crime baby and a savvy street kid — must save the kingdom.

The movie was originally set for a November 2020 release date, but was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Raya and the Last Dragon now hits theaters on March 5 and will be available via Disney Plus Premier the same day. Check out the new poster:
