Sonic Jump Fever is free on iOS and Android devices this summer

Sega announced today the launch of Sonic Jump Fever to iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Android as a free download later this summer

Sonic Jump Fever is based on Sonic Jump, first released to mobile devices in 2005, then later to smartphones in 2012. In the new release, players compete for high scores in vertical jumping challenges while playing as Sonic, Knuckles, and other characters from the Sonic universe.

After every round, players can access a leader board to watch as they climb the ranks. Twice a week these leader boards are reset and the competition moves to the next Sonic racing zone.

Sonic Jump Fever is currently in development by Sega Network's internal mobile studio, Hardlight Studios.
