NHL 15 launching Sept. 9, gameplay trailer skates across the league

NHL 15's first trailer premiered at Electronic Arts' E3 2014 press conference, showing off slow-motion footage of the first hockey title for the new consoles.

Dean Richards, general manager for the NHL franchise, introduced the trailer on stage at the show. Developer EA Canada is promising revamped presentation, new puck physics and completely redesigned arenas and crowds.

NHL 15 is set for release Sept. 9 on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Check back later today for a full preview.
