Today at E3 Sony claimed that it heard the support for Project Morpheus loud and clear, and has brought the hardware to E3 with two brand new demos. What we didn't hear was that it was confirmed to become an actual retail product, or anything about a price and release date.
Project Morpheus is Sony's virtual realty headset that was announced at GDC 2014. The company seemed to hedge its bets about whether Project Morpheus would ever become a real product, although games have already been announced for the hardware. You can read our hands-on thoughts of the system, and watch a video report of the helmet in action, with Move controllers used to manipulate objects in 3D.
We'll provide details hands-on impressions of the two new demos in the coming day.
