Magicka 2 is in development on PlayStation 4, Sony's Adam Boyes announced today during Sony's E3 2014 press briefing.

Publisher Paradox Interactive is bringing Magicka 2 to PS4 as the first title in a partnership with Sony for PS4 games, said Boyes, vice president of publisher and developer relations for PlayStation. Magicka 2 is being made by Pieces Interactive, which is also developing a Windows PC version. The game will offer four-player co-op in an adventure mode, along with a story-based campaign.

The original Magicka was developed by Arrowhead Game Studios, and was released on PC in 2011.
