Nintendo showed off Star Fox content last year as a tech demo, but during this morning's Nintendo Direct the company announced that the game is coming to the Wii U this holiday season.
The television will show a wider view of the world, while the game pad will allow you to aim carefully and see the environments from the cockpit.
There is only one button to fire weapons, and the rest of the buttons will make the Arwing transform into a walker, "landmaster," or "gyrowing," flip or perform a U-turn. It's not a sequel, and it's not a remake, which is why they call it Star Fox Zero.
