State of Decay 2 launches for Xbox One, Windows 10 in 2017

"Nobody survives alone"

State of Decay 2 is heading to Xbox One and Windows 10 in 2017, Microsoft revealed today during its E3 press conference.

A brief trailer shown for the game emphasized cooperative multiplayer, flashing "Nobody survives alone" among shots of zombie carnage. According to the video's description, players will "build a lasting community, working with other players or solo to overcome challenges while exploring your own unique story in a world that remembers the choices you make."

State of Decay 2 will be exclusive to Xbox One and Windows 10.

Undead Labs released the first State of Decay, a third-person zombie-survival horror game, in 2013. Zombie-centric concept art and screenshots leaked earlier this week, leading to speculation that a sequel could be on the way.
