Mirage: Arcane Warfare coming fall 2016, beta this summer

Mirage: Arcane Warfare will deliver its steel versus magic shooter and melee game this fall, said Steve Piggott, president of Torn Banner Studios.

The beta for the game hits at the end of this summer, he added.

Mirage: Arcane Warfare is developer Torn Banner's first game following surprise hit Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. And just like Chivalry, the game will be a bloody, medieval mostly-melee game. This time, though, the game has a major magic component and many more ways to take enemies down from a distance.

The game, which was created with Unreal Engine 4 for Windows PC, also has a vibrant background built around Arabian and Persian inspirations.

Earlier this year, the team showed off six classes, each with it's own style, spells and weapons.
