Dishonored 2 will allow players to complete the game without using any special powers. The new "no powers" option is called "Flesh and Steel" mode, director Harvey Smith revealed during the YouTube Gaming E3 live show.
Both Emily Kaldwin and Corvo Attano can deny "the gift" offered to them at the start of the game, he explained, which will cause them to not receive any of their trademark supernatural abilities. This option is meant to allow for the two main styles of play: killing everyone or using stealth to avoid fighting enemies directly.
We saw much of these types of gameplay in action during Bethesda's E3 press conference last night. A lengthy demo shown at the end of the event featured many of Dishonored 2's available powers, including time-traveling and teleportation. Watch that below in anticipation of the PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One game's Nov. 11 launch.
