Ghost Recon Wildlands, launch date and details

The war on drugs comes to consoles, PC in March

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands launches March 7, 2017 for PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.

The latest entry in the Tom Clancy series by Ubisoft led with a new trailer and was followed by a co-operative multiplayer demonstration. Ghost Recon Wildlands is set in Bolivia, where a Mexican drug cartel has taken over and seized the local coca crop. The United States drops in a special ops team to root out and destroy the gang.

In the multiplayer demonstration a team of four human players, communicating with canned expository dialogue, took out a notorious cartel figure known as El Pozolero. Their target fled and the pursuit moved to a vehicle chase involving dirt bikes, pickup trucks and a helicopter.

Ubisoft is promising the largest open-world environment ever built for one of its games. Wildlands was first revealed at last year's E3.
