PlayStation VR launches Oct. 13 (update)

Sony will launch the PlayStation VR headset on Oct. 13 in the U.S., the company announced today during its E3 2016 press briefing.

PlayStation VR will cost $399, as Sony announced during the 2016 Game Developers Conference. The virtual reality headset was previously known under the codename "Project Morpheus."
