Watch 56 minutes of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild gameplay from E3 2016

Watch us explore Hyrule as a half-naked, pyromaniac Link

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is arguably the biggest game of E3 2016 — so big, in fact, that Nintendo dedicated their entire booth to the game. We got a chance to go hands-on with the Wii U version of the title at this year's show, and walked away with a few cool stories, a ton to think about and a whole lot of gameplay.

Above, watch nearly a full hour of us running around The Legend of Zelda's enormous, emergent open world playground — the majority of which we chose to spend as a half-naked, highly vulnerable and fire-obsessed version of Link (think Dark Souls naked runs).

Nintendo plans to release The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for the Wii U and NX in 2017. For more on the game, check out our hands-on impressions video, where we go in-depth on our thoughts after some extended time in the game's immense open world.
