One of the biggest surprises of E3 was Microsoft's announcement of their plans to re-release 2004 Xbox cult classic Phantom Dust — not on their E3 press conference stage, but instead on YouTube's Live at E3 show, where Microsoft Studios' head of first-party publishing Shannon Loftis revealed that an enhanced port original game would be coming to Xbox One and Windows 10 next year, with all the benefits of Xbox Live's modern infrastructure.
We sat down with Loftis to get some details on this version of Phantom Dust — from a quick primer on what made the action-card battler such a hit with those who played it to the re-released version's display resolution and pricing structure. Above, watch our full interview with Loftis, and stay tuned to youtube.com/polygon for more E3 2016 videos throughout the week.
