Need for Speed Payback shows off heist gameplay at EA Play

Looking very Fast & Furious

Need for Speed Payback, Electronic Arts’ most recently announced game in the long-running racing franchise, showed more of what it will offer at the EA Play showcase at E3 2017.

In the E3 “Highway Heist” trailer, developer Ghost Games showed the series’ new heist missions along with more familiar racing components and increased customization options. The trailer also demonstrated the Relic system, where classic cars are revitalized and modernized in-game.

Need For Speed Payback will involve three playable characters and an action-flick storyline reminiscent of The Fast and The Furious when it launches Nov. 10 on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.

Ghost Games is back on for a third game in the series. Need for Speed took a year off after 2015's reboot, Need for Speed.
