Watch the beautiful first trailer for Ori and the Will of the Wisps

Microsoft and Moon Studios revealed the followup to the studio’s 2015 Xbox One game Ori and the Blind Forest, Ori and the Will of the Wisps.

The trailer for the game showed off the hauntingly beautiful world that players will travel through, which was accompanied by a pianist playing music from the game live on stage. Like the first game, Ori and the Blind Forest, the follow up feature strikingly beautiful art.

In the first game, players controlled a guardian spirt named Ori and had to move between platforms and complete puzzles in order to progress. The Metroidvania game was inspired by animated films like The Lion King and The Iron Giant, and was well received by critics upon release.

During its conference, Microsoft showed off the first trailer for the game. It can be seen above.

Microsoft announced today that its new console, the Xbox One X, will be available to purchase on Nov. 7 for $499.

E3 2017 begins on June 13, with press conferences starting June 10. For the big announcements, make sure to check out our one-stop shop for the show's streams.
