Battlefield 1’s night maps are glorious twilight bloodbaths

Those deep blues

One of Battlefield 1’s upcoming night maps got some facetime yesterday in a 30-minute stream that showed just how beautiful and deadly the upcoming map addition is.

Nivelle Nights has you fighting in the muddy battlefields and trenches in and around Malmaison and Soupir, as the French and German batteries prepare to pound the area.

The gameplay video gives you a sense of just how different the game looks when played only in the light of the moon, the flash of artillery explosions and the occasional spotlight.

Nivelle Nights hits in June for Premium Pass holders, according to EA. No date has been set for the second night map, Prise de Tahure, just that it will be released “shortly.”
