A new trailer for State of Decay 2 debuted during Microsoft’s E3 2017 press conference today. The survival horror game’s cooperative play was shown off for the first time, as well as other gameplay footage.
There will be four-player co-op in State of Decay 2, as seen in the trailer. There will also be a limited-use vaccination for the dangerous zombie virus, as well as the return of a permadeath feature.
The first State of Decay launched back in 2013 on Xbox 360, Xbox One and Windows PC. Undead Labs first announced its follow-up at last year’s Microsoft conference.
The Xbox One and Windows 10 exclusive will feature Xbox One X enhancements when it launches. That will include 4K compatibility and other features.
State of Decay 2 will be available in spring 2018.
