Bethesda showed us what exactly the world of Fallout 4 looks like in virtual reality with the first Fallout 4 VR trailer, shown during its E3 press conference tonight.
The game, first announced at last year’s Bethesda E3 showcase, is coming to the HTC Vive in October. From the minute-plus trailer, we see the familiar, barren landscapes from the 2015 game, as well as all the crafting and customization options.
What looks different is the protagonist’s Pip-Boy, as there aren’t exactly hands in Fallout 4 VR’s trailer. Bethesda seems to have built a workaround system to avoid some of the more tricky hand-tracking systems of virtual reality.

Like Doom VFR, the game seems exclusive to the HTC Vive platform, as Bethesda has not mentioned any plans to bring the game to any others.
E3 2017 begins on June 13, with press conferences starting June 10. For the big announcements, make sure to check out our one-stop shop for the show's streams.
