During the PC Gaming Show the team behind Middle-Earth: Shadow of War announced its first DLC module, The Blade of Galadriel.
The DLC will be it’s own mini-campaign, featuring a playable female elf named Altariel. She is an assassin sent by the elf queen Galadriel to learn more about Talion. The short, cinematic trailer showed how she is able to see the Wraith.
Little is known about the module, but it appears that Altariel will be a playable character.
Shadow of War is the sequel to 2014’s hit game Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor. In it players will be able to turn enemies to their side and add their skills to their armies. Play will consist of a series of epic sieges against Orc strongholds and include catapults, fire-breathing drakes and vicious hand-to-hand combat. Shadow of War was recently delayed by almost two months to October 10. It’s expected to launch simultaneously for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
