Beyond Good and Evil 2 finally made its official E3 debut during today’s Ubisoft press conference.
You can read up on what we know so far right here, but alongside the trailer, Ubisoft dropped a neat scene-by-scene breakdown of the trailer with creative director Michel Ancel.
The 11-and-a-half minute analysis describes a lot about what we see in the trailer and what it is meant to depict about the prequel to the original Beyond Good and Evil.
For instance, we know the game takes place in a vertical city, we learn a bit about the game world’s social system and a lot more about characters like punk-ass hybrid monkey Knox, Shani the biker mechanic and Dakini, among others.
Gameplay tidbits include the fact that you’ll be able to blow up some of the big bits of the city, ride on the back of vehicles and shoot at pursuers, and that Beyond Good and Evil 2 will feature a lot of exploration both on planets and space.
