Uncharted: The Lost Legacy E3 trailer shows off a testy relationship

Chloe and Nadine come to blows

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, the spinoff starring Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross, will put the treasure hunter and the mercenary at each other’s throats, according to a new story trailer that Sony showed during its E3 2017 press briefing today.

These two trust each other much less than, say, Nathan Drake and Chloe — but if they’re going to survive in India and find the artifact they’re seeking, they’re going to need to stick together. Of course, they have some competition in this treasure hunt, which is another reason they’ll have to learn to put their differences aside.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy takes place some time after the events of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, and Nathan Drake will not appear in the game. The Lost Legacy, which is a stand-alone game but will be free for people who previously bought Uncharted 4’s add-on bundles, will be released Aug. 22 for $39.99 exclusively on PlayStation 4.
