Nintendo’s E3 presentation was short and sweet, with some wonderful surprises for fans. It’s great to know that a Metroid Prime 4 is on the way for the Nintendo Switch, along with Kirby and Yoshi titles. There’s also a new Pokémon game coming for the system.
And there were enough trailers to keep everyone happy, along with an extensive look at what Super Mario Odyssey is like in action. It turns out Mario keeps his soul inside his hat, and can throw it on top of people, animals and even other obejcts in the world to take them over to continue his adventures. This is a disturbing new addition to the Mario canon, and we’re going to have to sit for a little bit of time to figure out what this all means.
