Ubisoft took to the E3 Coliseum stage today to discuss Assassin’s Creed Origins and talk through some of the gameplay for the title’s Arena mode.
The Arena mode allows you to take on formidable bosses in trap-infested pits surrounded by cheering fans. The video above shows a player taking on the Slaver in a battle that looks like it was pulled straight out of Ryse.
Assassin’s Creed Origins depicts the rise of the assassins and takes place during 49 BCE around the time of the ascension of Cleopatra to the throne.
The game is coming to the Xbox One X on the console’s launch day and to the Xbox One, PS4, PS4 Pro, and PC on Oct. 27.
