Rebellion devs talk through the E3 demo of their upcoming period-piece shooter Strange Brigade in this video.
In the game, you play as members of a secret organization working for the British government in the 1930s. The brigade is sent out to unusual locations to investigate the paranormal and such and then, it seems, kill whatever they find.
It’s a third-person shooter with a lot going on, as you can see in the video. Fortunately, Rebellion’s head of creative Tim Jones and lead artist Andy Pattinson are on hand to explain what’s what and also survive the entire demo so we can see it in all of its supernatural glory.
The game is “coming soon” to the PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.
Strange Brigade isn’t the first time that Rebellion, creators of the Sniper Elite series, have dipped their toe into the unreal. The studio also made a spinoff of Sniper Elite entitled Zombie Army Trilogy back in 2015. The last Sniper Elite game, Sniper Elite 4, launched in February.
