Starfield is Bethesda’s big, new game — here’s your first look

Starfield’s teaser has us hoping for Elder Scrolls in space

Starfield, the long-rumored Bethesda sci-fi role-playing game, was officially announced during the publisher’s E3 2018 event. The teaser provided little information. Rumors have suggested a first-person shooter/RPG hybrid, but we might have to wait until QuakeCon for more official info.

Starfield is the first big, new franchise from Bethesda Game Studios in 25 years. Rumors of the project date back to 2013, when the publisher trademarked the name “Starfield” alongside Fallout 4. In recent months, supposedly leaked info has been a common fixture on forums like Reddit.

Starfield doesn’t currently have a release date.
