Sega brings Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise to PS4 in October

Sega is bringing Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise — the Fist of the North Star game from the Yakuza team (known as Hokuto ga Gotoku in Japan) — to North America and Europe. The game will be released for PlayStation 4 on Oct. 2.

Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise will tell an alternate version of the Fist of the North Star story. As Kenshiro, players will explore a post-apocalyptic wasteland in search of Yuria, Kenshiro’s long-lost love. Kenshiro will have a variety of side activities, including bartending, managing a nightclub, buggy racing and playing retro games — including the original Fist of the North Star video game. Yakuza fans should feel right at home, regardless of their familiarity with the manga.

The North American and European versions of Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise will feature “extra carnage,” revealing the gory reality of Kenshiro’s brutal Hokuto Shinken attack.
