Blindside Interactive (Killing Floor) revealed a trailer for Maneater during the PC Gaming Show at E3 2018 today.
Players can control a giant shark that wreaks havoc underwater, on the coast, on docks — just about everywhere. Hunt humans, other fish and animals, and become the ultimate predator.
An official description of Maneater reads:
Maneater is a Single-Player Action RPG, set in the unforgiving waters of the Gulf Coast. Fight to survive in the open ocean, with danger lurking at every depth. Your only tools are your wits, your jaws, and an uncanny ability to evolve as you feed. Anything and everything is on the menu... kill or be killed.
The trailer opens with peaceful scenes starring people on vacation, fishing and enjoying the sunset — but that shark is having none of it. It doesn’t discriminate. Beachgoers, sailboats, crocodiles, scuba divers. It simply doesn’t matter. You’ll leap from the waters and catch prey in your bloody maw and plunge back into the ocean.
Maneater is set to release on Windows PC. No release date as of yet.
