Ridley is in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and I’m freaking out

FINALLY

Ridley is in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Tomorrow, Valve will release Half Life 3 and I will finally get that call from NASA accepting me into the astronaut program. This is unbelievable, and the above video is a very real reaction to me learning that Ridley will be in this game.

Ridley not being a playable character in Super Smash Bros. has been a joke as long as people have been predicting characters in Smash. “No Ridley” is used as the free space in Super Smash Bros. bingo cards. Guess no one is checking that one off this year.

I’m just excited to see this big, terrible space pirate captain clap respectfully when he loses a match. But he’s never going to lose because he’s Ridley. His appearance in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is almost enough for me to forgive Nintendo for not (as of yet) including Waluigi as a playable character. Almost.
