General Grievous, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Count Dooku and Anakin Skywalker are coming to Star Wars Battlefront 2 in the coming months, EA and DICE announced today, as the game explores the Clone Wars period of the Star Wars universe.
Developer DICE is also adding the planet Geonosis, introduced in Star Wars: Episode II — Attack of the Clones, to Battlefront 2.
Although Battlefront 2 kicked off with a rocky start following controversy over loot boxes, the team is committed to building out Battlefront 2, according to one of the developers on stage.
It wasn’t the only Star Wars news announced during EA’s E3 2018 press conference, either. Respawn Entertainment is working on a new Star Wars title called Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order that will take place between Star Wars: Episode III and Star Wars: Episode IV — A New Hope. It will be released next holiday season.
There’s no release date for the DLC at this time.
