Xbox Game Pass for PC pricing and first games revealed, beta launches June 9

Microsoft revealed pricing and the initial game lineup for Xbox Game Pass for PC ahead of its Xbox E3 2019 press conference on Sunday. The service, which launches in beta form on Sunday, June 9, will include at least 10 confirmed games initially for a fee of $9.99 per month.

Xbox Game Pass for PC will launch with an introductory price of just $1, according to its listing on the Microsoft website. Seven existing games and three upcoming games — Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Gears 5, and Ori and the Will of the Wisps — are confirmed to be part of the subscription service, though Microsoft ultimately promises “a curated library of over 100 high-quality PC games on Windows 10.”

Here’s the confirmed lineup for Xbox Game Pass on PC so far:

  • Ori and the Will of the Wisps (coming soon)
  • Forza Horizon 4
  • Hello Neighbor
  • Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice

  • Ark Survival Evolved
  • Imperator: Rome
  • Football Manager 2019

Microsoft also has deals with publishers Bethesda Softworks, Deep Silver, Devolver Digital, Paradox Interactive, and Sega to bring their games to Xbox Game Pass for PC. We expect to hear more from Microsoft at its Xbox E3 2019 press conference on Sunday, June 9 at 1 p.m. PDT/4 p.m. EDT.
