Enter the Gungeon light gun shooter coming to arcades

It’s called Enter the Gungeon: House of the Gundead

The developer of Enter the Gungeon is making an arcade game: a light gun shooter called Enter the Gungeon: House of the Gundead. It’s a two-player arcade game — yes, it’s coming to arcades and home arcades — that adapts the mechanics of Dodge Roll’s top-down shooter for classic light gun action.

“Unlock new weapons, dodge roll around oncoming fire, and face down legendary guardians of the Gungeon from the friendly confines of your local arcade or at home,” publisher Devolver Digital said in an official description of the game. Arcade developer Griffin Aerotech will aid in bringing the game to arcade hardware.

Enter the Gungeon: House of the Gundead will be released in early 2020. It’s available for pre-order now for $4,999.
