Square Enix is hosting its 2021 E3 press conference on June 13 at 3:15 p.m EDT/12:15 p.m. PDT. The company is known for both its popular role-playing game franchises like Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest, and its storytelling games like Life is Strange, giving us a lot to look forward to for this E3.

Black Panther is coming to Marvel’s Avengers later this year
The Black Panther and his native home of Wakanda will be in a Marvel’s Avengers expansion called War for Wakanda later this year, Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix announced Thursday during the Square Enix Presents digital showcase. The studio also highlighted the game’s most recent update, featuring Hawkeye, which launched alongside the next-gen console version of Marvel’s Avengers earlier today.
Klaw — the Vibranium thief played by Andy Serkis in the MCU — seems to be working alongside AIM in the new expansion, working to steal Wakanda’s most valuable resource. The trailer features some VO from the villain, some shots of Wakanda, and a brief look at Marvel’s take on the kingdom’s protector: Black Panther.

The next game in the Life is Strange series is coming this September, and will star an all-new protagonist with all-new powers. And unlike previous entries in the series, Life is Strange: True Colors won’t be episodic — the full story will be released all at once on Sept. 10.
Publisher Square Enix and developer Deck Nine Games, the team behind 2017’s Life is Strange: Before the Storm, revealed True Colors on Thursday during the Square Enix Presents digital showcase. Their new game game stars Alex Chen, a young Asian American woman who moves to the fictional Colorado town of Haven Springs to reunite with her brother Gabe. Alex possess supernatural powers in the form of psychic Empathy. She can both read and manipulate the strong emotions of others, which she perceives as colorful auras — but intense emotions can overwhelm Alex, as seen in the game’s debut trailer.
