Elden Ring guide: Liftside Chamber site of grace locked door

In this Elden Ring guide, we’ll show you how to unlock the locked door near the Liftside Chamber site of grace. We’ll take you along a path hidden in plain sight, which leads to an absurdly easy-to-miss door, which eventually leads you back to the site of grace where you started. Even better, it unlocks access to the most secret of all secret areas in Stormveil Castle.

Up the lift, across the ledge

From the Liftside Chamber site of grace, head up the titular lift. Exit the elevator, take the stairs down, and walk left through the door. Turn right, facing northeast. Now it’s time for some parkour.

1. Walk down the left side, toward the the corpse.
2. At the end of the walkway, jump up to the ledge.
3. Walk across the ledge.
4. Jump from the ledge to the window.

Ahead of you, you’re free to fight a soldier and a Stormhawk. To find the hidden path, turn right, and enter the door.

This (surprisingly long) path ends at the LIftside Chamber locked door. When you exit to go back outside, pick up the following:

• Smithing Stone [2] x3 from a body on a wooden-planked ledge
• Trina’s Lilly growing on the right outside
• Smithing Stone [1] and Golden Rune [2] on corpses outside

Be careful when you walk back inside. The area is full of Commoners, who are weak individually but dangerous when they gang up on you — and they sure can here. Pick them off stealthily or from range. And loot the body under the wooden staircase for the Manor Towershield.

Follow the path outside, and pillage the corpse on the ledge for Smithing Stone [3], and then jump down. Walk past the door, and pillage another corpse for Golden Rune [5]. Continue along the path, and loot the corpse for Rainbow Stone x5.

Follow the path around to the left as shown above, unlock the door, and rest at the Liftside Chamber site of grace.
