So you’ve defeated both the Red Wolf of Radagon and Rennala the Full Moon Queen, and now you’ve got her Great Rune and Remembrance. In this Elden Ring Great Rune of the Unborn and Remembrance of the Full Moon Queen guide, we’ll explain what to do with the two unique items you receive upon defeating the boss(es) in Raya Lucaria Academy.
Great Runes are shards of the titular Elden Ring that, once restored, grant you a benefit when equipped. Remembrances are consumable items that can be turned into unique weapons (or a whole bunch of runes).
Remembrance of the Full Moon Queen
After defeating Rennala, head back to the Table of Lost Grace in Roundtable Hold to speak with Enia the Finger Reader.
Choose to receive power from remembrance in her menu. This converts the Remembrance of the Full Moon Queen into either the Rennala’s Full Moon, a high-Intelligence and powerful sorcery, or the Carian Regal Scepter, a high-Intelligence staff that boosts Full Moon magic. Alternately, you can consume the Remembrance to gain 20,000 runes.
Additionally, defeating Rennala unlocks a new option for Enia. You can now purchase items from her, specifically the Queen’s armor set — the Queen’s Crescent Crown for 7,000 runes, the Queen’s Robe for 10,000 runes, the Queen’s Bracelets for 7,000 runes, and the Queen’s Leggings for 7,000 runes. Each piece of this set increases your Intelligence attribute.
Elden Ring Rennala’s Great Rune
Unlike Godrick’s Great Rune, Rennala’s Great Rune of the Unborn cannot be equipped and doesn’t need to be activated. Instead, this Great Rune gives you access to Rennala’s Rebirth option when you visit her in the Raya Lucaria Grand Library. (You also have the option to change your cosmetics here, too.)
Rebirth allows you to respec your character in exchange for a Larval Tear, a rare item.
