How to find easy Power Armor in Fallout 76

Here’s a guaranteed way to find high quality Power Armor, super early in the game

If you’re having a tough time surviving in Fallout 76, it’s always handy to have a set of Power Armor lying around. This heavy-duty, nuclear-powered contraption can be found randomly in a handful of places throughout West Virginia, but those random locations can easily be raided by other places. There is, however, a way to guarantee some Power Armor that’s actually even better than the random stuff you find out and about.

STEP 1: Head to Camden Park

Camden Park is an amusement park located in the southwest of the map. It’s about a 10 minute walk from the starting town of Flatwoods if you follow the main road.

Once there, you’ll instantly spot the park’s massive roller coaster. Your goal is to get on the track. There’s an entryway in the middle of the coaster that should have some stairs leading up, but feel free to watch the video above if you’re struggling. Feel free to ignore the enemies here, too. They will be higher level but you should be able to sprint past them without too much difficulty.

Once on the track, walk around until you reach this broken-down roller coaster cart.

In the front of this cart you’ll find a dead body with the West Bridge Key on it. Grab that key.

STEP 2: Head to New River Gorge Bridge - West

You may have seen the massive bridge above Flatwoods. You’re going to want to get on top of that and head to the southern side of it. There are a number of ways up there, but if you head directly from Camden Park it shouldn’t be difficult to reach this spot.

Once there, face north like you’re going to cross the bridge and then look to your right. There should be a little cliff face, and just below that is a small landing with a chainlink fence around it.

Head through the fence and turn left when you’re under the bridge. The door that matches your key is right there. And behind it?

This armor will probably have a few attachments that will be above your level. Make sure you remove them from the armor — otherwise you won’t be able to equip it. Save them, though. You’ll make use of them when you reach that level.

Once they’re off, hop into the Power Armor and have some fun!
