New in FFXIV’s patch 6.25, you can now help the Omicron beings in Ultima Thule rebuild a café and garden as part of their tribe quests. As with other Final Fantasy 14 tribe quests, you’ll need to complete a handful of quests daily in exchange for special rewards, like mounts and minions.
Omicron quests follow the same rules as the other tribe quests: You can only complete three quests a day and you get a special currency, some reputation points, and a ton of EXP for each quest you complete.
After earning a certain amount of reputation points, you’ll rank up with the tribe (allowing you to do three more quests the day you rank up) and unlock more rewards to purchase for their special currency.
You can only do 12 tribe quests per day (across every tribe), so make sure to do the quests you want to each day to avoid missing out on rewards.
How to unlock the Omicron tribe quests
In order to start the Omicron tribe quests, you’ll need to have the following prerequisites:
- Complete the main scenario quest “Endwalker”
- Complete the side quest “Where No Loporrit Has Gone Before” (the quest that unlocks The Stigma Dreamscape)
- Have at least one gathering job at level 80
Once you’ve done that, you can head over to Ultima Thule and talk to Jammingway to start the quest “The Café at the End of the Universe.” We’ve marked their location below.

Omicron tribe quests rewards
For each quest you complete, you’ll earn an Omicron Omnitoken, which you can track in your “currency” menu. Depending on your reputation rank, you can use these to buy special rewards from the tribe vendor. We’ve marked their location below.

Notable rewards include the Miw Miisv mount and the Lumini minion, though you’ll need to do lots of dailies before you can actually buy these.
