Final Fantasy 14 players can now take on Diamond Weapon in the new trial calle The Cloud Deck. In this FFXIV guide, we’ll walk you through how to unlock The Cloud Deck to fight Diamond Weapon.
To unlock The Cloud Deck, you’ll need to start the “Duty in the Sky with Diamond” quest from the Resistance Officer NPC in The Lochs. To take on Diamond Weapon, you’ll need an average item level of 495 or higher.
Once you beat Diamond Weapon and finish out the quest, you’ll be able to unlock the Extreme version of the fight from the Warmachina Fanatic NPC in The Lochs. You’ll need an average item level of 510 or higher, as this fight will be tougher than the normal fight. As a reward, you’ll be able to score some rare loot, like a high item level weapon and a dragon mount.
If you haven’t done any of the Sorrow of Werlyt quests, then you’ll need to start with the “Ruby Doomsday” quest from the Resistance Officer in The Lochs. To start this quest line, you’ll need to have finished “Old Enemies, New Threats,” a main scenario quest that comes after the main Shadowbringers story. You’ll also need to own the Shadowbringers expansion and have a combat job at level 80.
