Fortnite guide: Collect the visitor recordings on the floating island and in Retail Row

Fortnite season 10 has almost come to an end, but before it does there’s a set of Overtime challenges for players to complete. One or two of these challenges will unlock each day until the end of the week they’re available. The first challenge of the week sends players to collect the Visitor’s recordings which are located on the floating island and in Retail Row.

These recordings aren’t difficult to get on their own, but in every Fortnite match there are going to be several players going for them. That means it’s going to be a hotspot for players who just want to pick up easy kills. Because of this, it’s sometimes useful to land a little bit later than everyone else. That way, most of the players waiting to pick off people trying to complete the mission will have moved on, and you can collect the recording yourself with no hassle.

The recording on the floating island is sitting on the western side in the back of a yellow pickup truck. All you need to do is land near the spot and grab the recording to complete that section of the mission.

In Retail Row, the recording is inside the library on the north end of the town. To get it you’ll have to run up the stairs and turn left, just in front of the bookshelves.
