In this Fortnite guide, we’ll show you the Fortnite Chapter 3 map with every named location. We’ll show you what each area of the island in Season 1: Flipped is called and where to find important landmarks like The Daily Bugle, Sanctuary, Tilted Towers, and Covert Cavern, some of which were added to the map by thawing snow (and patches) throughout Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1.
Fortnite Chapter 3 – 19.20 Patch map (Covert Cavern)
With Patch 19.20 on Feb. 1, 2022, Fortnite’s Chapter 3 map has melted a little more. The receding snow has revealed a new POI called Covert Cavern. There are several small installations around the mountain and a new underground fortress full of IO forces.
Fortnite Chapter 3 – 19.10 Patch map (Tilted Towers)
As of January 18, 2022 and the 19.10 Patch, Fortnite Chapter 3’s island has started to thaw out from its snowy start.
As the snow and ice recede, a new named location — Tilted Towers — has been revealed and new creatures, Klombos, have appeared.
Fortnite Chapter 3 map
The biggest change in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 is that the previous island has literally flipped upside down. The familiar setting of last season is gone and in this new chapter of the game, characters like Marvel’s Spider-Man will have a big influence on the map. Not only can you find iconic landmarks like The Daily Bugle on the new island, but even Spidey’s trademark web-swinging will be available to all players starting on Dec. 11.
For now, much of the western side of the map is covered in snow. As this new season progresses, it will eventually thaw giving way to grasslands. In the meantime, the eastern side of the map is more tropical and in the south, it houses some fancy condos in an arid environment.
There were 12 named locations (POI) in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1, at the very beginning:

- Shifty Shafts
- Camp Cuddle
- Coney Crossroads
- The Daily Bugle
- Sanctuary
