Where to find a Choppa helicopter in Fortnite

Helicopters, referred to as “Choppas” in Fortnite Battle Royale, have been unvaulted and re-added to the game as of Chapter 3 Season 2. These huge aerial vehicles can be hard to find, as only a few spawn per match — but those looking to complete specific weekly quests will need to use them to cash in on XP. One of the Week 8 seasonal quests requires you to “travel 1,000 meters in the Choppa,” so you’ll need to grab one of these vehicles to grab the 20,000 XP reward.

Five Choppas spawn per game and they appear at the Seven Outposts, but only at a select few of them around the map. We’ve marked their locations below.

Choppas don’t have any usage for fighting, outside of carrying around your party members who can fire their guns from onboard. That being said, they’re great for getting across the map quickly.

Keep in mind that the Choppa does use gas, and once it runs out of gas it will fall out of the sky, so you’ll want to land before that happens.
